Eyes burning full of chlorine and dirt, you see something glinting. And swimming down deeper, your ears feel the pressure of a balloon and your lungs ripple in tight waves. You grab at the object, swim to surface and hold it up to the sunlight. In the water, the object in your hand felt hot and heavy, but in the air it feels like thin, jelly-like, translucent paper. Icked, you drop it back into the water. It plops. Circular wrinkles dribble across the surface, where the sight of it disappears no more than half a millimeter from the top.
